Powerful men cheat ....

Power and money is a powerful aphrodisiac that seduces and stimulates both men and women. It is harder to resist temptation when we face it every day.

The woman powerful men sleep with are fully aware of course the men are married so the other question is "Women who sleep with powerful men do it for many reasons". That would be the next article.

I'm not convinced that

I'm not convinced that infidelity is a domain owned largely by powerful men - those are the ones that get the most press and provide fodder for water cooler talk. I know some pretty non-powerful men who cheat on their wives with as much ease.

Well-said

Thank you Ashes! Well-said..
I understand that there are situational factors where temptations increase, but cheating, like any other act, is a choice!

Now power could be an influence to many deeds: helping the community, networking, aquiring social skills, ...cheating is yet another.
Yes, cheating remaims a choice though...for both the powerful and the less powerful men.
However, the true essence of power lies in the "non-cheating" domain. Sustaining a relationship IS an achievement where both partners are equally responsible for. So, this is where the genuinely powerful men are...not necessarily through the alleged attributes or common indicators of power..but in simply being in consistency and awareness of your own opposition and ambiguity at times, and promoting your core and inner values to rule through your own actions.
