i do believe that mental

i do believe that mental disorders meet with physical disorders at one point, thats why sometimes the mental disorder can be cured by doing some physical activity. its the same when stress causes muscles contraction and then breathing techniques help the muscles ease and thus reduce stress

From the mildly mentally ill

I have ADD and i consider myself as how i would be described by the great Peter d. Kramer, mildly mentally ill. I find no offense in this and agree completely.I honed my emotional status via great thinkers of all sorts. Funny considering the great melancholic thinkers are also considered mildly mentally ill.My emotional realm is such that i have not an ounce of sensitivity to this term which also brings many gifts,so long it stays in the mild category. Sincerely,David

Great topic :)

It was rather interesting for me to read that post. Thanx for it. I like such topics and everything connected to this matter. I would like to read a bit more soon.

Swimming

My son was "hyperactive" as a child and had great focus for things he liked. He was easily distracted in school and was somewhat disruptive. We had him evaluated for ADD but decided against medication. We enrolled our son in a swim club which was competition oriented. They would swim daily for 2 hours. He loved it (even though he didn't compete). He became an excellent swimmer and it really burned up a lot of his excess energy. I highly recommend swimming (not swim lessons, necessarily) for ADD, based on my experience.
