Today's Smile: Something Cold and Something Cool

For friends in treatment: one daily smile, laugh or thing of beauty.

 

     In honor of the fact that today is the coldest day we've had so far this winter, amazing pictures of Niagara Falls when they froze over. The actual year the photos were taken is in dispute (the claim is 1911), but the photos themselves are real.

 

     A different kind of cool: How did Volkswagen Sweden make it more fun to walk up the stairs instead of defaulting to the escalator?
