Excellent article. Nice to see someone do some research for a change. He had a very traumatic childhood. His family moved something like 20 times. He dropped out of school to take care of his Mom after his parents' split, then when he tried to return to school, they denied him. He's a lovely human being. He's also described himself as a romantic ("I've seen Wuthering Heights 10 times!")
