Women Love Peacemakers (Males Think the Opposite).

Fight or walk away? If I fight, then surely the ladies will dig me, but if I walk away, I will not have a snowballs chance in Hell with them. I am a man after all, and must defend my honor! And the ladies will love me for it, right?

A recently conducted study headed by Joseph Vandello, a professor of psychology at The University of South Florida, examined how men and women feel about aggression. Men were asked how they would react in several situations, such as "being bumped into at a party and getting called an asshole." They then were asked how they thought women would feel about their responses.

Most males said that they would respond peacefully, but interestingly, they believed that most women would find fighting more attractive than walking away. But the kicker is this: Most women thought a male would be MORE attractive if he walked away. Also, men who thought that women find fighting attractive were most likely to have fought in the past.

So (whispering to all the males out there), most women want you to walk away. Oh, and do not worry about being less manly than the man wanting to fight: Women likely find him LESS attractive. He can have his pride; you'll have the woman.
