Suggestions?

Ok, so this article establishes cleary how popular tactics can backfire. So help a parent out a bit and share some reccomendations please.

Suggestions, yes!

You have to figure out what your child needs to learn to get from A to B. It's not a sexy answer, but if your child is resistant to new foods, ask yourself what she needs to learn to overcome that resistance: Does she have to learn techniques for trying new tastes, figure out how to process the information about what a new food will taste like so it's less scary, do you need to create a structure that produces the right incentives? Every case is different. I have lots of suggestions on my website www.itsnotaboutnutrition.com. Look under Techniques to Try.

Best,

Dina
