This was a great post - thanks! I especially like the reinforcement of the notion that teens really do want their parents involved in their lives. That info gives me the strength, as a parent, to stay involved when they try to push me away. Thanks also for the tips on how to listen to our children - I am going to print them out and refer to them often. Wonderful insight!
