Watch an April 2, 2011 live-streaming event lecture featuring Dr. Marsha Linehan
The National Education Alliance for Borderline Personality Disorder, together with Dr. Linehan and the Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinics (BRTC) at the University of Washington, are hosting a major conference in Seattle on April 2nd and 3rd: Dialectical Behavior Therapy. The title is Essential Characteristics and Clinical Outcomes.
By registering independently at www.neabpd.org, attendees will be able to connect to the live 4-hour address by Dr. Linehan and others from the conference in Seattle.
Please note that the start time of the conference will differ due to time zones across the US: Saturday, April 2, 8 AM to Noon Pacific Time; 10 AM to 2 PM Central Time; and 11 AM to 3 PM EST.
In addition to Dr. Linehan's presentation, Dr. Perry Hoffman, Dr. Alan Fruzzetti, and a family member will talk about family matters, including NEA-BPD's Family Connections 12-week family course.
NEA-BPD is also able to make some "seats" available to people in the community on their own web sites. "Seating" is limited and there is a $50 charge. People can access the presentation through their home computers, or host a meeting with several people watching together.
Individual participants must pre-register at www.neabpd.org. Go under the conference heading Dialectical Behavior Therapy- State of the Art and Science, click on advance registration in the last paragraph. A unique password will be given to each person or organization to access the presentation two hours prior to the start of the conference.
