After reading this article I see the impact that anxiety can have on someone's life but I also see that with the right attitude and coping mechanisms it can be overcome. When she was speaking about having an anxiety attack because of the fear of going down the hill and gaining speed I thought she was going to say she did not go through with it but I was glad to see that she used her tools to calm herself and prosper.
First, that does sound REALLY scary! Both my daughter and husband have had anxiety attacks - it is scary when they happen. I'll be passing this along to both of them.
