Sex at Dawn

Exploring the evolutionary origins of modern sexuality.

Message to Regular Readers

News for regular readers.

Hi. Apologies for the infrequent posting of late. I've been overwhelmed by the response to our book, which has been out a bit over two months now. I'll try to get back to more regular posting here as soon as things return to something like normal life. In the meantime, a couple of announcements:

— I'll be doing some book-related events in October and early November in the States. Here's what's set so far:

  • Seattle: Elliott Bay Books, 10/26, 7pm.
  • Portland: Broadway Books, 10/27, 7pm.
  • San Francisco: Green Apple Books, 10/29, 7pm.
  • Chicago: Multicultural/LGBT Center at the University of Chicago (5710 South Woodlawn Avenue). Contact information: lequerica@uchicago. 11/4, 7pm.

It would be great to meet you if you're in town and would like to drop in. I'll announce any additional events as they come up.

— If you're interested in the sorts of issues I've been covering here, you might want to check in on the Facebook feed related to Sex at Dawn. No need to join Facebook to see it. It's a community page where people talk about the book and related matters, I post articles that seem relevant, and so on. Please come join the conversation here.

Many thanks for reading our stuff and helping to spread the word on our book. Given the realities of publishing budgets these days (Zero investment in advertising!), we're depending on word of mouth to support the book. So far, you've really come through for us, and we appreciate it.

I'll leave you with a recent photo of us with our favorite primatologist (no offense, Robert Sapolsky!).
