Who doesn't love a penis festival?

Tired of the green beer and bad music that accompanies mid-March celebrations in the U.S.? Maybe it's time to trade St. Patrick's Day for Japanese-style penis and vagina festivals. Many societies have such ancient rites of spring, celebrating fertility and generation. But while Japanese sexuality may seem wildly uninhibited, it's really just a case of different inhibitions. For example, in Japan it's illegal to make anatomically-accurate vibrators, which is why they all pretend to look like something else.
