We should watch our euphemisms
I teach English, and my biggest problem is with phrases popping up that have other, very different meanings. It is difficult to explain to students that what is on their t-shirt is in fact offensive, when each of the words is innocent. I do make it a point of explaining what the shirt means. "going commando" is the best clean example of this.
We should protect our children and the people on the other side of the world from copying what they do not understand.
