Traditional therapy is open-ended. So when does it stop? Read More

Open Endedness in Therapy
I believe that therapy is about facilitating change. Patients play an important role in the discussion with the therapist on which issues should be addressed using what specific treatment modality(s). Having a reasonable framework for therapy will help facilitate other issues to come to the fore front as well. When one specific issue is addressed than this will open up space in the patient that he or she may not have been aware about.
