The Twisted Mind Of Joran van der Sloot

Joran van der Sloot pleads guilty in the murder of Stephany Flores. Why? Read More

Even the thought is mortifying.

Shall we assume the aim is to live rent-free for a few years (at prison)? There was a similar case in another country. A group of murderers had committed the crime altogether and had killed a 21 year old girl… the murderer went in jail for life, but not so for the other two, his ‘helpers’. In fact, the girl who ‘helped’ him, had said she hadn’t been feeling guilty at all, but she was ‘psychologically influenced’ by her boyfriend, so she shifted the blame on him. She got out 10 years later, tried to change her appearance, as much as she could, and now she is working somewhere as a hair dresser. These hands who murdered and took a life, are touching people’s hair at a salon at this very moment… How would these customers feel if they had known… Even the thought of it, is mortifying.

The Twisted Mind Of Joran van der Sloot

WOW... We have lot's cockroaches in this world ,we need better system to exterminate , to many escape pest control.

12 years in a Peruvian prison?

If he stays in the prison in Lima Mr. Van der Sloot might make it.We don't know what his plea agreement is like but if he gets sent up to the other prison in the Andes then Mr. Van der Sloot may not live for 12 years. That place doesn't sound like a picnic.

Justice for Joran van der Sloot

What I would like to see is van der Sloot extradited to America after serving his sentence in Peru. Although it may be too late for Natalee, at least bring charges of extortion against Natalee's mother. There's proof, and pathological liar or not, he has admitting to extorted her. Even though I am not a gambler by any means, I believe if he spent just one week in an American prison, the other prisoners would take justice into their own hands; I bet he would leave the prison in a body bag.

jorgan van der sloot

i believe that this young man is socially incapable of living with normal human beings.Due to his upbringing, and a superiority afliction, he will always treat other as beneath him, squash anyone that gets in his way.He has a spoiled child complex. His parents should be proud, jail will only be a time out for this repeat offender.Who will be next? Thanks to the Holloway girl's mother he won't be coming to the U.S anytime soon. At least not in handcuffs.

It's all about Joran. He

It's all about Joran. He seems a classic sociopath, without a care for anyone except himself. Unless science makes great strides, he and others like him will not be rehabilitated. It's fine with me that there are still people out there who believe love and kindness can fix anything, but there's no evidence to support it. It has to be there in childhood, and even then there are some unexplained instances of sociopaths who seemed to have had decent upbringing. We just still don't know everything about it except that it seems to be hard-wired and irrepairable. If he'd had one shred of empathy within himself, he would have used it to tell the truth as best he knows it to help the Holloways instead of making it the worst ordeal possible for them.

justice needs to be served

Reading this article makes me really sad. To know that this man brutually murdered two girls and might only serve 8years is scary. It is obvious that something is really wrong with this man and he will continue to murder young girls. It makes me think about the justice system in peru. This man needs to serve a life sentence to pay for whay he has done. He needs to be brought over here so that he will serve a real sentece. i pray for the family of these two young ladys and hope they get the justice they deserve
