I always felt my last house
I always felt my last house had a lot of 'love' in it from the previous owners,they family had loved the house and were very happy there. I think you can pick up on an energy in certain areas/places. I would not like to live in a property that had a traumatic history!
Smudging
Smudging is burning a herb (I forget which one) bought in most spiritual shops which neutralises energy and gets rid of the 'energy' of previous tenants. It need not cost much and can be done yourself, I always do it when I move into a new house. A professional would be probably warding off bad spirits by saying something like 'you have died and it is time to pass over', I think maybe the incense is an unliked smell to spirits? My advice, DIY house cleansing, no harm in that!

I never heard of it before. But I have felt things and written them down (free association). One time I wrote something directed by my teacher and it took ten years to pass. When I wrote it I was 25 years old and didn't understand it? I felt strange for about (3) months. I did notice I was more adept at hearing and sensing after my family member died when I was 15. Has anyone had this type of thing happen to them?

Smudging is done with a bundle of white sage. I have done it and it has a nice smell. I wasn't taking any chances with my new place. LOL
These beliefs were lost in evolution like: The "Wave & Corpuscle Theory" that was initiated by the ancient greek philosophers.

I had written a poem that materialized a decade later? My teacher directed me to write in a free association style. I noticed after one of my family member passed I felt more intuitive. Has anyone felt this?
