My post yesterday on "Suffering in Silence: Women With Adult ADHD" got me thinking, so decided to look for information on women with ADD, and there really isn't much of a list. I identified Cammi Granato, Ann Bancroft, Emily Dickinson, Patty Duke, Zsa Zsa Gabor, Susan Hampshire, Mariette Hartley, Luci Baines Johnson Nugent, Louis Pasteur, Nicolai Tesla, Lindsay Wagner, Virginia Woolf, Joan Rivers and Eleanor Roosevelt. Aside from Cammi Granato, there really isn't any current day female ADD role models.
Are you aware of any female ADD'ers that I could share with readers and followers? I'll do a feature on Cammi Granato tomorrow. Don't forget to register for the 4th Annual AD/HD Virtual Conference
