I read the article about this father and could certainly understand his rage and why he stood up for his child. I was bullied as a kid, and the impact stays with you.

It's important to do detective work and find out if your child is being bullied, or if your child IS a bully, and step in. Here are a couple of articles that deal with both scenarios:
