Fibromyalgia and emotions

Thank you for your article!

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at the age of 52. I had such chronic pain it was difficult to take care of my family. After having some family problems with a teenage son, I started seeing a psychologist and digging deep into abandonment/neglect issues in my very early childhood. Because of this therapy, I have a much, much healthier outlook on life, a healthier family and to my delight, my fibromyalgia pain is amazingly almost gone! I feel like a 200 pound weight has been lifted from my life. I do have issues with osteoarthritis but my life is sooo much better.
