There is a lot of debate as to whether there is such a thing as "secondary" fibromyalgia due to some sort of trauma. Often, the trauma is the result of a fall, or a car accident. And such "post-traumatic" fibromyalgia patients are more severely affected, with more pain-and are therefore more difficult to treat. Read More

Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is a disorder that causes muscle pain, stiffness and fatigue for unknown reasons. Treating the disorder using western medicine can be frustrating. This is why many are now turning to old, eastern medicine for an answer. These are cheaper and even safe. While looking for Fibromyalgia I saw thisTreatment of fibromyalgia, its interesting and good information is here.
I think fibromyalgia is 100%
I think fibromyalgia is 100% cureable if only the affected person with experienced trama and or self imposed stress were willing to commit to psychological counciling to restructure unhealthy thought processes ("unhealthy thought process" is individual to each person, wide ranging and must be dealt with on a case by case basis) of traumatic and/or self imposed dramatic/traumatic thinking.
In my opinion without permanent thought process restructuring thru psychological counciling people who have developed fibromyalgia have no chance. The use of drugs is merely a blanket to cover an unhealing wound.
For most every physical ailment, including fibromyalgia, there is a psychological impairment.
Fibromyalgia
...Who does not have a physical impairment somewhere in their body or soul? The fact is that Fibromyalgia is to some like a chronic cancer that does not kill a person directly, but it sure feels like it is killing me. I have had poor metabolism resulting from Fibromyalgia which nearly caused CHF, but I was able to save myself in time before that occured. Fibromyalgia is spreading and on the rise, and drugs are largely unhelpful; muscle relaxers aid and hinder by helping reduce the pain but then again it slows the metabolic system down, which is not good. Trade off for trade off, two steps ahead and one step back...and sometimes it is only steps back and one step ahead, go figure! Fibromyalgia has definately flipped my life upside down! The odd thing is that I never even heard of the word before a few years ago, and now I hear it spoken in public places, and among my friends and neighbors and even from countries around the globe, especially Europe.
