Thanks for your interesting list.

As far as media books go, my all-time favorite
is "Amusing Ourselves to Death: Public Discourse
in the Age of Show Business".

And as far as 2010 media books go, very much my favorite
would be "How Fantasy Becomes Reality: Seeing Through
Media Influence" (actually published late 2009).

Karen Dill, the author (and fellow PT Blogger), covers
a big swath of newer research in a breezy, lighthearted
way. In other words, the subject is meaty, yet still
an easy read. Especially enjoyed how she was
incorporated into GTA!
