Should we give thanks to psychotherapy?

Has Psychotherapy helped you?

We at the New Center for Advanced Psychotherapy Studies wondered on this day of thanksgiving if you feel you have been helped at all by psychotherapy and if you do, do you or do you not feel grateful.

These are two very different questions and one does not necessarily follow from the other. Sometimes, those who gave us a lot it is extremely difficult to thank them, while those who gave us nothing or very little we mysteriously feel indebted to them.

The relationship between how much we receive and how much we thank is a mysterious and important one.

We would love any and all thoughts on this topic. Just say everything and expect good things.
