Living Single readers sometimes ask me about upcoming talks. Since I have two scheduled for April, and both are open to the public, I thought I'd let you know about them.

Wednesday April 7
Scripps College in Claremont, CA.
Boone Recital Hall, 5:30 pm

I'll be giving a talk, "Single and surrounded: Personal ties in 21st century life," as part of a panel discussion. The other panelists are Amy Parish, an anthropologist at the University of Southern California, and Marc Solomon, the Marriage Director at Equality California.

The title of my Monterey Peninsula College talk is "Singled Out." There will be a book signing afterwards.
