Forgiving should come with strings attached.
I think, all mentally ill people that cheat should be given a second chance, if they go on psychiatric medicine for a lifetime.
Forgiving mentally ill people (Depressives and Bipolars) without holding them accountable for their mental illness, is a bad policy.
Forgiving can prolong misery and perpetuate a preexisting passivity.
