VA Finds PTSD Linked to Heart Disease

Researchers at the San Francisco VA Medical Center have found that vets suffering from PTSD have more than twice the risk of also having heart disease. There's no scientific explanation why this occurring, but hyperarousal (reliving past traumas and preparing for futures ones) wears the body down.
