Since the main blogger's on political subjects this week, I'll step in with a little something psychological.

It's actually quite basic, from Psych 101, so hopefully it won't throw you for too much of a loop. See, there's this concept called projection: people who lack self-awareness project their own unacceptable qualities onto others. They don't see that they're doing it. Instead, the world becomes populated with jerks. Seeing this process as originating with the self would require a level of self-awareness they don't have.

So, let me hold up a mirror: the only "crude, abusive gas-bag" here is you.

If you think the blog's content should be different, you can complain to PT's editorial staff. That's what they're there for.

I wonder if Palin was allowed to pick questions for Prissy Couric would she get ones that would make her look like a Dork also or would Palin spare her the pain. It is evident that Couric is out to get Palin. Some of the comments on her evening news shows her bias; stick with the facts!

Everyone acts like everyone in the public eye must memorize all encyclopedias. Even Einstein felt no need to memorize some nonsense; his phone number could be looked up so he freed up his mind for other important matters.

Presidents are briefed all the time. All they have to be is a quick thinker and put that information together. Everyone acts as if Bush got everyone in a mess. I did not know that a President had so much power; I thought he had to be backed by the Senators and Representatives? How soon we forget.

Also, all the videos show other countries as having more people, more money, and more brains. Why aren't they leading the way in solving the world problems? The United States gets blamed for seemingly more than all the other countries. If we are so bad, why are we getting people risking their lives to get here? We founded our country on principles of turning the other cheek, do unto others what we would like done to us, help your brother, and be a good Samaritan. Unlike some countries where as a female you have to hide under a big robe because maybe the males can't contain themselves? You tell me and the rest of the world! Women are treated as property. and what is this stoning a woman stuff about anyway?--didn't the male adulterer just pull out and run away. Ah, what a world! The gods must be shaking their heads all the time at the little scenes little ugly people play. Little people in places of big power how sad! Biblically, we need more Solomons with wisdom. The sad thing is that most individuals should live their lives in such a way, they don't create problems for others--peace begins inside ourselves. Until we each do the best, our world will not heal.
