I am just wondering out loud, Dr. Fisher...

Is the "planting-eating boys" a purely Japanese phenomenon? Not something I have encountered in our society of late.

I do like the idea of "daddy days." I work in a family medicine clinic and frequently see fathers coming in with their toddlers and infants for their well child checks (even without mom.) Just about the happiest group of men you could ever want to see, too. Wish a lot more single men could witness what I see on a daily basis--they might just have more respect for marriage and fatherhood if they could see how delightful and blissful these men are.
