I heard once, but haven't been able to confirm . . .

. . . that in lion prides, the lionesses eat first after a kill. It makes sense because they do all the hunting. If they don't take care of their own needs first, the whole pride might die.

We can learn a lot from them.

Actually, they don't do "all

Actually, they don't do "all the hunting". Male lions hunt for themselves.

You need to stop getting your information from nature shows on the Lifetime Channel.

Actually, male lions only hunt if they don't have a harem.

It's well known that the lionesses are the hunters of the pride, even Wikipedia says so (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lion): "The lioness is the one who does the hunting for the pride. The male lion associated with the pride usually stays and watches its young while waiting for the lionesses to return from the hunt."

My only question was whether it's true that they eat first when they make a kill.

I'm not going to speculate on where you get your information, because I don't believe in demeaning people, even those afraid to sign their names.

How come you weren't able to

How come you weren't able to get your "clinical clutches on Sandra"?

Was it because you were on vacation at your summer home in the Bahamas and couldn't be disturbed?

This is just the kind of Pollyanna simplistic drivel I'd expect from an out of touch academic like you.

All work and no play...
