Steve Jobs achieved because he insisted on doing things his way. Huge risk goes with that strategy. Some win big. Most lose big.  Steve stuck to his vision and won, but many who stick to their vision fail and we never hear of them. Only you can decide whether this risk is for you.

New ideas would never get launched if visionaries bent to the will of the crowd. On the other hand, if everyone insisted on having things their way, society wouldn’t function. No one can predict which visions will succeed and which will fail. That’s why we need individuals to invest themselves in visions and reap the success or failure. Money is not the issue because your time on earth is more precious than wealth. You decide which ideas are worth spending your precious life energy on.

Life is an experiment where each person gets to decide which risks to take and then live with the outcome. Of course, others affect your life. But you are always deciding when to adhere to your vision despite the opinions of others. You may fall flat on your face, but it’s your face.
