I Am My Best Person When...

We all have moments of being in the zone. When are yours?

I recently caught the second half of an Oprah episode featuring Elizabeth Gilbert, author of Eat, Pray, Love. Toward the end of the episode, she said something that really resonated with me, and I want to share it. It is the kind of thing I've always thought and taught, but could never seem to articulate this simply and this well. Elizabeth said, "I am my best person when there is less on my plate".

For me that is just so beautiful, so simple and oh so true! I would also add that I am my best person when...

I make sure to get enough sleep, water, and exercise.
I stay focused, productive and use my time well.
I am excessively grateful.
I eat well.

When are you your best person?
