It sounds a sensible idea to me. Because lots of women marry men who are kind and share their world views and then when they come off the pill find it hard to get pregnant because being on the pill was masking the fact that the man wasn't a good genetic match for her, so no babies.
It's a nice idea, but it won't really be practical until the price drops dramatically. I have a hard time believing there are a lot of people with so many suitors that they need to spend $2,000 just to whittle down their options.
