Proms, Plays, & Yearbooks: Erasing queer lives from school

I really enjoyed reading this

I really enjoyed reading this article and i really think that schools and the community around them should stop being ignorant towards gays. they should have the same rights that straight people do. it is completely unfair to deprive them of some of the school activities that the toher kids get to participate in. I am straight so I cant say that i can relate to the horrible things that ays are being subject to, i certainly feel strongly that that should be stopped, no matter who you are.

thank you for writing this article.

As a bisexual girl in my school I definately feel the hate even from some of my teachers! I've never been excluded from any events because of my sexuality but they have definatly been some hesitance. It's sad that teachers or anyone are fighting this lifestyle so hard for me, it wasn't a choice I was born this way. Why should I be excluded just because i like girls?
