Restore Positivity!

After reading this post, I can summarize it in only two words 'Restore Positivity'. It is vital to bring back those moments of life that you both used to live with joy and thrill for reviving your married life. can't even go there.

After 20+ years of marriage went up in flames of betrayal upon betrayal, I can't even look at pictures of my kids when they were young, or think of our earlier, happier married life. Even with EMDR therapy, I have such a strong reaction, I have to continue to dissociate from that time. I have to learn to look to the future, because all the past has for me is pain.
My ex can talk, smile, joke about those things. I hope someday to not be hurt by those memories. It's like many years of my life lost.
