They did for you. You noticed and wrote about them. I would not have noticed had you not written at PT to point it out. I surmise it's a Joneses mimetic desire status thing. A Rolex is worth more. It gives time.

That...isn't the file drawer problem. What could have made you say that?
It's not exactly the same, you're right
You're right that it is not exactly the same thing as the file drawer problem, but it is analogous to it in that there is probably a file drawer of other colleges and universities who are likely doing something similar if not the same thing. So although imperfect, I think the analogy has it's usefulness in illustrating what is likely an important problem. -Jon
