Embracing Darwin in an Uncertain World

While scientists overwhelmingly accept natural selection as a well-established scientific theory, it's nonetheless rejected by a sizable minority of Americans. What makes natural selection so unpalatable to so many people? And what makes alternatives, such as Intelligent Design and creationism, so much more attractive? Read More

Why I Believe What I do

As a believer, Christian...I believe God created the Universe.

From a scientific point of view, I believe it makes no sense/illogical that the Universe just happened or exploded. SomeONE had to create all that exists.

As for the Big Bang theory......order is never the result of chaos.

Order from disorder.

Without order everything would be chaos so to say that order is never the result of chaos cannot be correct.

If you understand even the basics of physics you would realise that order does in fact result from chaos or disorder without the manipulation of any externally created device.

I find it quite easy to believe that the human mind would want to grasp tight the idea that there is some designer who has ultimate control on behalf of the individual based on humans capacity to be fearful of the unknown or unexplainable.

I look forward to future posts on this subject. I like to keep an open mind and love fresh new approaches to theories etc...

Cheers,

Marsh.

Charles Darwin Has A Posse!

Can you link image to my original, by chance? My image caption has secondary link to my page of downloadable stickers, and I'd love to get word out to Darwin fans.
