Age....
I am 65, but people think I am 20 or more years younger. Why? Genetics and attitude, and I am a freshman!
I will always be young. I plan to e 100 because that is how long it will take me to get my Master's. I am only on my 2nd gen ed!
Fortunate to be born with an optimistic outlook on life; good thing or I might be drooling in a corner.
I wrote about my life and won a scholarship; that is why i am in school.
Written my memoir: Ghost Child to Triumph (from a child with no voice, to someone who speaks up against injustice).....prcess of editing.
Wrote my book, Sanctuary of the Soul (poems of anguish, healing, hope, comfort and celebration), endorsed to my amazement by Elie Wiesel, Wayne Dyer, Nikki Giovanni, Drs. Alice Miller, Larry Dossey, Clint van Zandt (14 others).....
Got a divorce after 31 years of abuse, then stood up (literally and figuratively) and fought the spiritual abuse for 18 months, with my name up on a big screen, followed by the words: "Conduct Unbecoming a Child of God."
Once again, able to make something positive come from the "ashes" my church abuse poetry website with almost 20,000 hits.
So, enough about ME, what do YOu think about me/!
My faith and wicked wit and sense of humor have stood me in good stead!
I will always be "eternally young"...my mind says I am 18, and I believe it! So do my classmates and my doctor(s) ask me:
What is your secret?
I tell them a lifetime (except for 3 years in the army) of abuse and smoking :)

I completely agree that aging is in the mind! The younger we feel=the younger we act=the younger we look.
If we feel 30 even though we are 50, we will keep exercising, have curiosity about life and just generally be more youthful.
Mind-body-lifestyle..it all fits together to make the whole!
