I'm curious about something. Your metaphors for the myth of the labyrinth are excellent; Theseus is, indeed, the hero of the labyrinth. But he is NOT the hero in the story of Theseus and Ariadne; Dionysos is. Is that a metaphorical subject you plan to tackle later?

Thanks very much for your kind comments on this series of posts. I'll be moving on to other topics, but feel free to add something here regarding the role of Dionysos in the myth of Theseus and Ariadne, in which, it seems to me, Ariadne is really the hero/heroine.
