Thank you for your list

I often complain about how much my family annoys me, but they are the glue that holds my world together. I appreciate the reminder.

being thankful for adversity

I think it important, difficult but not undoabul, to be thankful for adversity while in the midst of it. If we strive to see the lessons we are learning even in times of hardship and use them to change our situation and our lives we can be thankful even for our hardest days. Sometimes this may happen in retrospect other times it can happen in the moment. When it does happen in the moment the burden of our troubles becomes less and we are able to stand a little taller and possessed with renewed vigor in our struggles.

I think it's important to be thankful for all that you have. It puts things in perspective and makes you grateful as you know there are others out there less fortunate than yourself. This is especially the case over the holiday season when people get wrapped up in making the perfect feast or buying presents.
