Do you happen to have a reference you could point me to for number 7?

Point 5 reminds me of chess..

Point 5 made me think of the game of chess (or those similar to). In chess, you have to plan ahead, and anticipate both your opponents moves and your reply/reaction to that move. I'm sure there are studies out there that relate chess to self-regulation because of how similar the strategies are for keeping on top.
