KHP, thanks for the kind words. One day I aspire to give a commencement speech. For now, I am content watching old clips of Tim Russert in action...

The Mother, I am continually pleased to see 1 out of every 20 students in my classes "get it" at an early stage in their lives. If only our society put elders on a pedestal so that the young could learn from their wisdom. I count myself among the many that failed to listen to wise elders....

Randy, your message made me smile. I am amazed at the amount of advice that will offer nothing than warm fuzzies for 6 months or less. But of course, the building blocks of a rich, meaningful life are moments.
