your article is very helpful

your article is very helpful and informative, thank you for the tips to develop resilience in hard times. I myself have had a rough week and following your advice really makes me through it. Keep up the posts.

exquisite advice

I too have had a challenging week. I'm going to see my therapist twice this week. I've been overwhelmed with the lofty goals that I set in my life. I resonate with your assertion that you should break a long term goal into acheivable short term goals and taking it one day at a time. I'm going to a new college this fall and I don't know anyone. So, my anxiety levels have increased profoundly. Keep Healing!!

change is good

thanks for your article, I want to share some advice that has helped get through a really rough patch, in less than 3 months, my fiancee of 3 yrs dumped me and our wedding plans, my job became a nightmare (bad management) and my cat died, (the cat part sounds like the punchline, but really it's been awful), after fighting to keep my life in balance, I finally realized that pain and suffering are just not worth, so I think resilience also means having the ability to think clearly through the rough times, endure what you can take to a reasonable limit in order to achieve the major goals, in my case, keeping my apartment mortgage in reasonable terms in the middle of all the breakup chaos, and finding a new job, and welcome change in my life. I miss my old job, I miss my fiancee and I miss my cat, there is no way to substitute any of them, but my life has turned out in a positive way. Im happy to be happy in different terms rather than miserable in the same old surroundings.

Agree

Following the advice in this article has helped me so much.
