Famous Failures

Failing is the way we learn and grow. History is replete with examples of how many great achievers have failed their way to success. Read More

:)

Thanks alot for those uplifting examples of famous failures. I hope they're as true as reported. I enjoyed reading your article, it gave me a smile.

Wonderful inspiration

I found this all very uplifting, as i myself am taking on tasks that don't seem to be working out yet. With my depression and anxiety, i am not easily motivated and have trouble getting to work....so knowing that these great thinkers and artists were once along the same lines as myself, it gives me hope.

I think in today's society,

I think in today's society, we have transformed "failure" and "success" into incredibly loaded words. We have attached them to valences when in fact they are relatively neutral words. It's great to see an article re-emphasize that not achieving the intended outcome the first few times doesn't mean the idea is flawed. If we learn from the experiences and keep trying, we will reach the intended goal.

Its like siulator

Dear Sir
Its wonderful motivation for them who withdraw,With each failure we learn a new technique its like learning shooting for that you have to target on bulls eye but it goes away but you learn it with your experience you become perfect, failure works in your life as a simulation system which one can rectify his mistakes and coverts his weakness into strength.
Here the writing tells With one Failure don't be depressed you should take it positive but work again with new strength, zeal &
mechanism its expensive sometimes but powerful for future, its time consuming but it saves time in future.
I endorse your writing and happy to see such work.

ADHD

When I read these profiles, ADHD comes to mind.

I have ADHD, but was not diagnosed, as such, until after my own son was diagnosed.

I think that bureaucratic institutions, like schools and industry, see only the limits of ADHD and not the vast potential of the wandering mind.

BTW: I earned a degree in Engineering (against the odds) and I have designed and developed products, some of which, I am sure that anyone reading this has used.

I attribute my success to not quite fitting in and being compelled to "do it differently".

I hate to see kids forced to conform, when conformity is not what has advanced humankind.

These examples of "failures" should serve to make educators question what they believe about learning and student behavior.

Means vs. End

If your goal is an end, you're going to fail and not like it.

if your goal is a means, you're going to never fail and like it.

Very inspiring (=.

Very inspiring (=.

Meaning of Failure

Meaning of Failure is the difference between 'what is planned to achieve' and 'what is achived'
