Exercise Good for Depression: Whose Bright Idea Was That?

This has to be the most accurate and realistic comment on depression and exercise I've ever read. In the midst of my second worst depression in 20 years, I just finished reading the blog on finding humour in depression. Well this one did it, and I'm nodding as I read it. And I feel like walking, 2 times a week for five minutes might be something I can commit to when I'm in a mood where getting out of bed in the morning is sometimes too hard.

your words are true and real. please keep writing. the other article about depression are clinical, impersonal, and quite absurd sometimes.

like you, i try to run. physical exhaustion seems to distract these demons.
