Hashimoto's flares?
Can you cite your source that only a small percentage of Hashimoto's patients flare when taking iodine supplements? I was under the impression that flaring was a direct bodily response to increased iodine, since increased iodine leads to increased thyroid peroxidase (TPO), which in turn leads to an increase in the TPO antibodies that define Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
You mentioned to take one
You mentioned to take one tablet daily (90 mg), but you did not say what is the name. If I want to buy it at the drug store, what I have to look for, how these drugs or pills or tablets are called?
Thank you
Um, something you neglected
Um, something you neglected to mention: following the radiation scares following the earthquake in Japan, it's next to impossible to find iodine supplements anywhere. All across the US and Canada, it's back-ordered.

Sincerely,
Irish

Interesting
This is an interesting article. It seems to make sense...at least until you account for the fact that you have cited no studies or peer reviewed information saying any of it is true. I also find it a little suspect that you claim iodine levels are down...presumably from testing being done. Then claim iodine testing isn't the best way to determine whether or not you have low iodine. Seems a bit suspicious. Did you buy up stocks for companies that produce iodine?
Is it possible to just put
Is it possible to just put some iodine on your skin and have it absorbed that way?
Tofu
Tofu isn't fermented. Tofu is made by chemically coagulating the protein solids in soy milk. The curds are then pressed into the familiar tofu cakes.

The autor made a lot of claims, but where are the references?
