The loss of faith & hope can leave one completely numb. For if there is nothing to believe in what is there?

Don't give up, please.

There is too much beauty all around us to ever experience
in one life time with our 5 sense. Please, stick around
awhile and absorb as much of it as you can. I work at a

My name is Nancy and I am a student at West Genesee Senior High School. I am doing a final project on teen suicide and an interview with an expert on the issue is required as part of the final. I was wondering if someone could possibly answer some questions so I can refer to them in my presentation.
Here are a few questions:

Does suicide tend to run in families?

Do most adolescent suicide completers have other mental health or conduct related problems?

Does utilizing mental health resources decrease the likelihood of teen suicide?

Do suicide rates in the US differ by region and among different ethnic groups?

Are teen suicide completions and attempts clustered? Are there particular youth who are more at-risk of suicide?

Why do some teenagers commit suicide?

What are the most common warning signs?

If someone suspects that a friend or family member is considering suicide, what should they do?

Why has the suicide rate been increasing in the past few decades?

What is a family's reaction when a teen family member completes suicide?
