Introducing myself-- a new blogger on this site

New blogger says hello

I'm very excited to be joining Psychology Today bloggers and have a lot of topics in mind. In the next few days, I'll be blogging about robots designed to do child care (yes, really!) and about some breast-feeding issues. My long-time special interest is in infant development, but in recent years I've become very concerned about some well-meant but ill-conceived ideas about older children.
