The 7 Most Popular Changepower Blogs

These 7 Changepower blogs were readers' all-time favorites.

Blue Ribbon Blogs

Thanks to you, faithful readers, the Changepower blog has just reached a milestone. Recently, the page-counter hit, and then surpassed, 200,000 page views. I really appreciate all of you who share my interest in healthy living, willpower, and how to change habits successfully. For you and for those new to the blog, here are the top seven blogs of my three years of blogging. Drum roll, please.

7.  "1 Tip for a Tiny Belly” Ads Are the Tip of a Scam

I was pleased that so many readers were as curious about these ads as I was.

6.  What is the One Essential Key to Long Life?

The answer, based on the well-researched book, The Longevity Project, is not what you might predict.

5.  Healthy Eating, For All the Right Reasons

My faith in humanity is restored, knowing so many people are interested in a non-diet approach to healthy eating.

4.  The Nine Habits of Highly Effective Complainers

This blog was a review of Guy Winch’s entertaining and helpful book, The Squeaky Wheel. I re-read it whenever I need to pump myself up to confront a customer “care” representative. (Yes, I sometimes forget what I’ve written in my own blogs.)

3. What Are the Two Foods Most Strongly Linked to Successful Weight Loss?

Neither fruit nor vegetable made the top two; they came in third and fourth. The top two foods are satisfying, nutritious—and surprising.

2. Why Diets Don’t Work...And What Does

Another blog that shows the good taste (pun intended) of my readers. I’m so glad people are realizing that the diet mentality is destructive and counter-productive.

And finally, the most popular Changepower blog by far is:

1. Can the “Novelty Habit” Boost a Couple’s Commitment?

This exciting research provides an easy, fun way for couples to bond.

It’s intriguing that the most popular blog offers a way to get closer to a partner or spouse. Ultimately, that closeness is something we all yearn for. So, on this note, I wish you lots of warm, happy times with family and friends over the holidays, not to mention healthy habits now and in the New Year!

Best wishes, Meg
