Thank you for an excellent article. As an avid fox hunter and first person re-enactor of Col. George Washington, I found your research to be very helpful. Americans truly owe a debt of gratitude to the sport of mounted fox hunting for introducing George to the spheres of early American influence. Who knows what would have happened to this country without the fox hunting connection.
