I have to say, I'm glad that you guys are able to "deal" with the Asperger's, for the lack of better phrasing. I know from personal experience that there are people who don't understand that there's nothing wrong with being different, and it has caused me a lot of struggle. On the other hand, I've never wanted to assoicate with those types of people anyway. My closest friends understand the quirks that stem from my Asperger's, and they couldn't really care less about it. To them, it's just another trait that makes me, well, me.
Anyway, good luck to your teen years-you'll need all the help you can get, and that's not entirely due to the Asperger's.
