For example, Tai Chi is an excellent mind body exercise, as are other Asian methods. My book: Asian Mind-Body Techniques Revealed, explores a variety of Mind-Body exercises that fit the model discussed here. They add a dimension to exercise that walking on a treadmill does not. Though I must add all forms of exercise are valuable, if done correctly and appropriately.
