Tamler Sommers, Ph.D.

Tamler Sommers is a professor of philosophy at the University of Houston. He is currently at work on two books: The first, entitled Relative Justice (under contract, Princeton University Press), analyses cross-cultural perspectives on free will and moral responsibility and relates this analysis to the contemporary philosophical debate. The second, Morality Under a Microscope, is a collection of 9 interviews with researchers working at the intersection of science and ethics.  It is under contract with McSweeney's Press and is due to appear in September, 2009.   Tamler Sommers's PT blog is Experiments in Philosophy.  His personal webpage is here.
